LMS: Cannot connect to HECI driver

Description

Hi!

I have a DG965WHKR board and lspci says i have got a HECI:

00:03.0 Communication controller: Intel Corporation P965/G965 HECI Controller (rev 02)

I downloaded and installed the heci driver from sf and it loads:

heci: Intel(R) AMT Management Interface - version 3.1.0.31 heci: Copyright (c) 2003 - 2007 Intel Corporation. ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:03.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:00:03.0 to 64 heci: link layer has been established. heci: heci driver initialization successful.

But lms says:

LMS: Cannot connect to HECI driver

I am a bit confused about the AMT thing. As far as i can see my mainboard has this chip and i would like to see the temperature of the chips, but the Intel AMT site says that only vPro machines support AMT. I attached the debug output of the heci module.

Any help is appreciated!

Andreas

LMS supports AMT features and not Sensor data. While the HECI driver is needed to access sensor data, the software which connects to the ME via HECI is not yet available on Linux LMS works only on AMT enabled systems. Your board does not have AMT.
